Food Donations - Jars & Tubs of Hope

Hunger is a daily struggle for many of the children and families we support. Our Jars of Hope — each feeding a family of five — and our Tubs of Hope bread bring comfort and nourishment where it’s needed most. Clean, sterilised coffee or preserve jars, and tightly sealed 2L ice cream tubs, are perfect for packing these blessings. Every jar and tub you give is more than food — it’s hope in the hands of a child.

Drop-offs: Project Hope office (Mon & Wed, 8:00–12:30) or church reception (Mon–Fri, 8:30–13:00).

Pre-loved items

Your gently used items can change lives. We pass them on to the children and families we support, or sell them at our monthly roadside sale in the valley, where the community can access affordable goods. Every sale helps fund our programmes.

Monetary

As a charity, we rely on our available resources to make a difference in the lives of children. We understand that donating money can sometimes feel uncertain, but rest assured, we are closely monitored by Chartered Accountants and SARS. Every cent is carefully accounted for and used effectively with integrity to achieve our mission.

Please drop any items at the Project Hope office Monday to Friday 8 – 12:30.

Would you like to change a life and sponsor school fees for a child for the year?

For a small monthly contribution, one vulnerable child will receive 2 daily meals (often the only food the child will receive), regular health assessments, immediate assistance in the event of an emergency and of course, quality education.
