Strength Package: Walking with the Fathers Behind the Children

In the Valley of 1000 Hills, our mission has always been to uplift the youngest lives — but behind every thriving child is a caregiver who often carries invisible struggles. While mothers are usually the ones at the forefront, there are also fathers — men who long to be providers, role models, and safe anchors for their children, but who are often weighed down by poverty, trauma, and lack of opportunity.

Our new Strength Package is an invitation to walk alongside these fathers, giving them the same support, encouragement, and opportunity we offer their children and their mothers.

This special package is designed to build up and empower dads — not just to survive, but to heal, lead, and thrive as fathers, partners, and men in their communities.

What Does a Strength Package Provide?

With your support of R300 per month, a father receives access to the resources and encouragement he needs to step fully into his role, including:

• A place in a transformative 14-week parenting course run in isiZulu by local leaders, in partnership with Focus on the Family. This evidence-based programme helps fathers reconnect with their children, build healthier relationships, and grow in confidence as men and dads.
• Help with essential documentation (like ID books or birth certificates) that are often major barriers to employment and accessing support.
• Opportunities for skill-building, emotional support, and job creation — ensuring he feels capable, purposeful, and proud of the example he is setting for his children.

Your commitment of at least 12 months allows us to walk with him through a full year of growth and healing — a journey that strengthens not only one father, but his entire household.
