Blessing Package: Walking with the Women Behind the Children
In the Valley of 1000 Hills, our mission has always been to uplift the youngest lives — but behind every thriving child is a caregiver who carries their own burdens in silence. Most often, it’s their mother. She is the quiet warrior navigating poverty, trauma, and daily survival to give her child a chance at something more.
Our new Blessing Package is an invitation to walk alongside these women, giving them the same support, love, and opportunity we offer their children.
This is a special package is designed to empower and encourage each child’s primary caregiver — not just to survive, but to grow, heal, and thrive.
What Does a Blessing Package Provide?
With your support of R300 per month, a mom or caregiver receives access to the resources and nurturing support she deserves, including:
- A place in a transformative 14-week parenting course run in isiZulu by local women, in partnership with Focus on the Family. This evidence-based programme has already proven to be life-changing — restoring dignity, confidence, and connection between moms and their children.
- Help with essential documentation (like ID books or birth certificates) that are often major barriers to accessing support.
- Skill-building opportunities, emotional support, and job creation opportunities, ensuring she feels seen, held, and capable.
Your commitment of at least 12 months allows us to walk with her through a full year of growth and healing — a journey that strengthens not only one woman, but the entire household.
